1、在您的帮助下,我们电厂成功引入国外企业资产管理系统,实现了生产工作信息化管理的创新,大大提升了设备管理效率。如今,社会发展从信息时代迈入大数据时代,您认为电厂应如何利用大数据提升生产和管理水平?
1. With your help, our power plant introduced foreign Enterprise asset management system, which achieves the innovation of information management in production works. Nowadays, social develop from information age to the era of big data, and how do you think that power plants use the big data to enhance the production and management level?
Information Technology is at such a stage today that data can be retrieved from virtually any source. For example your EAM system directly, from Plant control and DCS systems, graphical and GIS information are all now available. Utilizing such sources of data allow Power stations to monitor and predict maintenance, emission’s, work activities, stock optimizations and generally allow all workers, not just management to be aware of their working environment.

2. Smart phones is a big step forward popularity of Communication and technology, which can access works through mobile devices. Do you have any advice (suggestion) for the integration of smart technology and production management?
Mobile technology falls into two categories these are online mobile devices that need a connection to the internet or intranet and offline devices that work unconnected. The connected mode in many cases allows the full access of it systems while on the site so with the exception of printing almost all it functions can be carried out away from the office/PC. The introduction of RFiD technology on offline devices is also a desirable technology at the moment, this allows devices such as padlocks for isolations to hold electronic information that cannot fade, fall off or be rendered unreadable unlike printed Isolation tags. GIS technology can be used to locate remote workers or work activities to manage things like close work conflicts.
More general apps are also useful for QA/QC checks at site, JHA, defect reporting and auditing with use of photo technology to support investigations.
3、我们电厂发电已有28年,设备陈旧、容量偏小,使得我们在竞争中处于劣势,在其他国家与我们电厂类似的情况,通过采取什么措施提升竞争力?
3. Our power plant is 28 year-old with obsolete equipment and the capacity is too small, so we are at a disadvantage in the competition. For other countries with a similar situation, what is the solution to enhance the competitiveness?
Having visited many older power plants and don’t see that Shajiao or Yudean are at a disadvantage. Having worked with the group for many years I know that they are willing to look at new technology and be pioneers in the region. The key to staying competitive is efficiency which is only achieved by having a clear picture of your plant and working environment and using the lessons learned and predictive statistics obtained from “Big Data” to work smarter.
4、政府对环保越来越重视,对电厂的排放要求也越来越高。国外电厂在环保方面有些什么先进的做法,在技术、管理以及其他方面?
4. Government is increasing emphasis on environmental protection, and the requirements of power plant emissions are increasingly high; What advanced the practice of foreign power plants have in environmental technology, management and other aspects?
This is not an area that I have direct knowledge of. I do know that there is much technology on the market that is used in this area as we have utilized monitoring data in the past for inclusion in HSE analysis report with our NiSoft system.

5. You are a senior expert, has extensive experience and experience in the power industry; each country has its own power plant management and administration features. What good management models and practices we can learn from?
Different management models work for different organizations in different regions. Many plants are looking at IT systems to make life easier and make knowledge more available to all workers including contractors coming to the site. There are many different models but you must find the one that gives you Safety, efficiency and compliance while still maintaining a profit in the business.
